Minolta Digital SLR Cameras
Minolta (or most currently Konica Minolta) is no longer building cameras. However, their outstanding cameras are available used if you can pry them from the hands of die-hard Minolta fans. Luckily for photographers, Sony has taken over the Minolta Digital SLR camera development and has created the Sony Alpha (A100, A700)! So you have two options - either buy a used Minolta (although rare, you may even be able to find a new one still) or a brand new Sony Alpha.
